FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — The Jets on Wednesday activated wide receiver Devin Smith from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list and placed left tackle Ryan Clady on injured reserve with a torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder.
In other roster moves, the organization waived defensive lineman Jarvis Jenkins and replaced him with defensive lineman Anthony Johnson, who they signed off New England’s practice squad. The Jets also added former Nebraska offensive tackle Zach Sterup to their practice squad.
Smith, their second-round pick in 2015, hasn’t played since Dec. 13, when he suffered a torn right knee ligament against the Titans.
