FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- The New York Jets' banged-up backfield received a boost on Monday, as the team activated Khiry Robinson from the physically-unable-to-perform list. He missed the first nine practices as he completed the final stage of rehab, stemming from a broken leg last season.
Robinson was one of the Jets' wild-card additions in the offseason. They signed him to a one-year contract after the New Orleans Saints relinquished their rights to him as a restricted free agent. He played well at times for the Saints, and the Jets believe he could be a sleeper. He will compete for the No.
