The Jets activated CB Robert Nelson from the practice squad and released RB Travaris Cadet. The club also signed LB Jeremy Cash and RB Akeem Judd to the practice squad and released S Harold Jones-Quartey from the P-squad.
Nelson, a University of Louisiana-Monroe product, appeared in 11 games last season for the Texans and recorded 20 tackles, two pass defenses and an interception. Originally an undrafted free agent in 2014, the 5’9”, 175-pounder signed with the Browns and played in seven games his rookie season before he joined the Cardinals in 2015.
