The Jets acquired WR Jermaine Kearse and a second-round pick in 2018 from the Seahawks in exchange for DL Sheldon Richardson. The two sides also agreed to swap seventh-round selections in next April’s Draft.
The 6’1”, 209-pound Kearse is entering his sixth pro campaign. Last season, he caught 41 passes for 510 yards with 1 TD. He had four receptions in preseason action.
In 2015, Kearse set career highs with 49 receptions, 685 receiving yards and 5 TDs. The University of Washington product signed as an undrafted free agent with the ‘Hawks in 2012 and has averaged 13.
