Jets absolutely throttle Titans in all-around masterpiece

Trap this.

There was no overlooking the Titans by the Jets, just an absolute thrashing, a 30-8 beatdown at MetLife Stadium on Sunday afternoon that keeps Gang Green in the heat of the chase for a wild-card berth.

The Jets’ third straight victory, their first such streak since the 2011 season, was never in doubt against the hapless Titans, who should’ve stayed in Tennessee and saved money on airfare.

Ryan Fitzpatrick (21-of-36, 263 yards) continued his inspired play, throwing three touchdown passes — he now had a career-high 25 — Chris Ivory (22 carries for 101 yards) ran for more than 100 yards for the third time this season and Brandon Marshall (six for 125) went over 100 yards receiving for the eighth time, one sky of Don Maynard’s team record.
