Jets' 6 Picks, Overall Positions in '16 Draft

The Jets, as we detailed previously, are selecting 20th overall in each round, due to the fact that they were the only 10-6 team not to make the playoffs last season and thus are not grouped with any other teams that would affect where they select from round to round.

Barring more draft choice moves by the league and, of course, the Jets trading picks in the coming weeks, here is where the Green & White's six selections fall:

Round 1 — 20th overall

Round 2 — 51st overall

Round 3 — 83rd overall

Round 4 — 118th overall

Round 5 — 157th overall

Round 6 — (195th overall, to Houston in last year's trade for QB Ryan Fitzpatrick)

Round 7 — 241st overall

Last year in Mike Maccagnan's first draft as the Jets general manager, the team also spent six picks, three of their own (Rounds 1, 2 and 7, for DE Leonard Williams, WR Devin Smith and DT Deon Simon respectively) and three that arrived via trades (Rounds 3, 4 and 5 for LB Lorenzo Mauldin, QB Bryce Petty and G Jarvis Harrison respectively).
