The New York Jets must cut their roster to 53 by 4 p.m. ET Saturday, Sept. 1. Here’s a final 53-man roster projection:
It's one of the most fascinating personnel decisions in the NFL: Will the Jets trade Bridgewater? They're willing to listen to offers, but there isn't much of a market, and that won't change unless a quarterback-thin team loses its starter to a freak injury in the last week of the preseason. The odds of that happening are remote, considering very few starters actually play the last game. The hunch is the Jets will keep Bridgewater and McCown as backups -- assuming Darnold is the starter.
