Jets 2018 Training Camp Profile: RB Thomas Rawls

With the retirement of running back Matt Forte this offseason, the New York Jets quickly went to work in acquiring new talent this offseason for the positional group. Besides the return of Bilal Powell and Elijah McGuire, the Jets also brought in Isaiah Crowell and Thomas Rawls.

Ideally, new offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates wants to continue having a West Coast offense but also have a stout rushing attack. Not only would establishing the run consistently help the time of possession battle, but it can set up the passing game to keep opponents on their toes.
