Jamal Adams’ future with the Jets is seemingly getting more untenable by the second.
The star safety said he is unwilling to speak with general manager Joe Douglas or head coach Adam Gase after the Jets fielded calls about his availability before Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline. Adams also confirmed his interest in playing for the Cowboys and that he relayed that information to ESPN analyst Ryan Clark on Tuesday after he was told the Jets were shopping him.
“I would love to go to (the Cowboys),” Adams said in an emotional press conference on Wednesday. “I am born and raised in Dallas… Michael Irvin is like my uncle.
