Jets safety Jamal Adams on Tuesday delivered what could be considered a damning indictment of coach Todd Bowles' defensive preparation for last Thursday's loss at the Browns.
During his weekly WFAN radio appearance appearance, Adams said the Jets didn't have a game plan for Browns backup quarterback Baker Mayfield, the No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft. The Browns presumably didn't plan to play Mayfield. But Tyrod Taylor exited with a concussion, and Mayfield replaced him with 1:42 left in the first half.
The Jets led 14-0 when Mayfield entered.
