After Sunday’s 38-3 loss in the season finale to the Patriots, the second-year safety said the Jets need more “dawgs” on their roster. He added they need to sign some “big-time players.”
“Jamal and I had a long conversation,” general manager Mike Maccagnan said. “I think Jamal is very passionate. He’s definitely one of our younger leaders on our team. But I also think after talking to him that we share the same vision and we share the same goal.
