Add Jamal Adams to the list of people who are skeptical that Rob Gronkowski has played his last game for the Patriots.
The Jets safety was asked if he was happy to no longer have to deal with the big tight end at Thursday night’s unveiling of the team’s uniforms.
“He’ll be back,” Adams said. “He’ll be back. He’s not fooling me.”
Adams said he actually hopes Gronkowski returns because he has enjoyed facing him over the last two seasons.
“I was sad,” Adams said about the retirement. “I was upset because going against him is what I look forward to.
