Isaiah Crowell suffers concussion after scoring TD

Isaiah Crowell made his presence felt in his first game with the Jets, but he paid a price for it.

The team’s new running back scored the first touchdown of the Jets’ 17-0 win over the Falcons in the preseason opener Friday night at MetLife Stadium. He caught a pass from Teddy Bridgewater and took it 16 yards for the score, blasting through a few Atlanta defenders on his way into the end zone.

The touchdown proved costly, though. Crowell left the game immediately after and was being tested for a concussion. Coach Todd Bowles did not have an update on Crowell after the game.
