Isabel Nazario, associate vice president for the Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion at Rutgers University, received the NFL Hispanic Heritage Leadership Award at the Jets-Eagles game at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.
"I am greatly humbled and honored to have been selected by the NFL, the Jets and the Hispanic Heritage Foundation to receive this award in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month," Nazario said. "I extend my deep gratitude to Hispanics from around the nation for contributing to the strengthening and building of our nation. It is their achievements that I am proud to celebrate with the Jets and the foundation.
