When NFL ratings soared over the last decade, the rise of fantasy football was looked as a major reason why. More fans than ever were connected to players across the sport, not just with the home town team. Naturally, fans wanted to watch their players on a weekly basis to keep up with scores, touchdowns and stats.
As ratings have rapidly fallen in 2016, NFL fans have been asked why over and over. Is it the election? Is it fans cutting the cable cord at home due to rising prices?
