Unfortunately for the New York Jets, another defensive back is on the injury list. In an article written by the RotoWire Staff for CBS Sports, they confirmed that safety Rontez Miles suffered an eye laceration which is why he never return in their Week 2 preseason matchup against the Detroit Lions.
Due to the NFL safety protocol, Miles will undergo tests on Monday to be evaluated for a concussion. Hopefully, all will be well and he won’t miss much time in training camp or preseason action.
Entering his fourth year with the Jets, Miles has mostly been known as a solid special teams player.
