In a promising performance, first-year head coach Todd Bowles finished his preseason coaching debut with a trio of wins over the Falcons, Giants and Eagles. In the final three preseason games, the Jets outscored their opposition, 82-58. Eleven-year NFL veteran QB Ryan Fitzpatrick started three preseason games and against the Giants connected with WR Eric Decker for his first touchdown pass as a Jet.
