DETROIT -- The Jets' new $72.5-million man left something to be desired on Monday night.
Trumaine Johnson was signed to be a shutdown cornerback. Instead, Johnson was a blemish on an otherwise strong secondary for stretches of the Jets' 48-17 win over the Detroit Lions at Ford Field.
"I left some plays out there that obviously I can't take back," Johnson said. "That's the good thing about this game, though - you can watch it and you can correct it next week."
The corrections will have to come on some big plays over the middle.
