How the late Pat Summitt impacted Peyton Manning's NFL career

His just-completed Hall of Fame career has made it mostly an afterthought, but Peyton Manning's decision to play his senior season at Tennessee was a big deal.

Manning was able to graduate early from UT after his junior year in 1996, and he would have been the No. 1 overall pick in the 1997 NFL Draft.
