How many QBs will the Jets keep? Todd Bowles is non-committal

Bryce Petty was the first Jets quarterback to go with his release Thursday.

But is he the last?

Jets coach Todd Bowles was non-committal at Friday's rookie minicamp about the number of quarterbacks the Jets will carry both into training camp and the start of the season.

Currently, the quarterback room holds four: incumbent starter, but 38-year-old Josh McCown, free agent signee Teddy Bridgewater, 2016 second-round pick Christian Hackenberg and rookie Sam Darnold, viewed as the potential franchise quarterback the organization has been in search of for decades after selecting the former USC star with the third overall pick last week.
