The Jets don't have a lot of prominent in-house free agents this offseason.
They're dealing mostly with backup types like inside linebacker Bruce Carter, offensive tackle Ben Ijalana, and outside linebacker Josh Martin, plus long snapper Tanner Purdum. The Jets won't break the bank on these guys.
By far their most notable pending unrestricted free agent is right guard Brian Winters, who struggled during his first two NFL seasons (2013-14), but steadily improved over the past two years.
So what will it cost for the Jets to retain Winters?
