Grading the Jets

OFFENSE

Sam Darnold had his worst game of his young career. He completed only 40.4 percent of his passes (17-for-42) and had his first three-interception game. Darnold also had his lowest passer rating (34.4). The Jets were shorthanded at receiver — Quincy Enunwa was injury and Terrelle Pryor was cut due to injury. They also lost running back Bilal Powell in the first half with a neck injury. All of that impacted Darnold and the Jets. Jermaine Kearse didn’t catch a pass. They didn’t convert on third down until there was about four minutes left in the third quarter, ran for 71 yards (60 below their average) and committed four turnovers.
