Verona's Anthony Fasano will not be coming back to New Jersey.
The veteran blocking tight end has signed with the Dolphins, according to ESPN. The Giants and Jets had both expressed preliminary interest in Fasano earlier in the week.
Fasano, who will turn 33 in April, is leaving the Titans after two seasons and returning to a Miami club he spent five years with from 2008-12. Fasano had just eight catches in 2016 for the Titans, but he graded out as Pro Football Focus' top-ranked blocking tight end. The Dolphins have a need as they are reportedly set to lose Dion Sims to the Bears.
