George R.R. Martin of 'Game of Thrones' fame vents about Jets

No one knows suffering better than George R.R. Martin, a self-described Jets fan.

The author of the “A Song of Ice and Fire” series, which inspired HBO’s hit show “Game of Thrones,” took to his blog Tuesday morning to vent about the team’s 41-10 loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Monday night.

“Jets Game? What Jets game? Did the Jets play a game? On Monday Night Football, you say? Surely not,” wrote Martin, who came to the team’s Florham Park, New Jersey, facility during training camp last summer.

“Those were not the Jets. That was the Weehawken High School Junior Varsity dressed up in Jets uniforms, surely.
