The New York Jets haven’t made a playoff appearance since 2010, and that led to the team and head coach, Rex Ryan, parting ways this offseason. To be fair, the recent failures of the organization had more to do with former general managers, Mike Tannenbaum and John Idzik, not providing enough weapons on offense, than it did with anything that Ryan did. Now with new GM, Mike Maccagnan, calling the shots, the Jets’ offense looks much more dynamic, and it’s now Geno Smith‘s turn to step up and lead this team to the playoffs for the first time since 2010.
