Geno Smith is slowly reemerging in the Jets' 2015 picture. Wearing T-shirt and shorts, he threw during individual drills at the Jets' return to practice today for Sunday's opener against Cleveland — "I thought he spun it real well," said Brandon Marshall.
And in the locker room after practice, he spoke for the first time since the Aug. 11 locker room incident with the since departed IK Enemkpali that left the quarterback with a broken jaw.
"I feel pretty good," Smith said. "I'm just staying patient, trusting my team doctors, trusting my coaches, still preparing the same way, not really changing my regimen.
