The coin toss turned out to be the personal highlight of IK Enemkpali’s night.
Aside from serving as one of the Bills’ pregame captains, it was hardly a memorable return to the Meadowlands for the former Jet who infamously broke Geno Smith’s jaw with a sucker punch in August.
Enemkpali barely played and didn’t even show up on the defensive statistical chart after Buffalo’s 22-17 victory at MetLife Stadium, then bolted from the locker room after the game before the media even had a chance to talk to him.
Smith didn’t play, either, so it appeared the two people involved in one of the more notorious incidents in Jets history had no interaction the first time they were on a field together since Enemkpali’s fateful training-camp punch three months ago.
