It was readily apparent when we first saw battering ram Chris Ivory as an NFL running back way back in 2010 that he was physical enough and boasted the skills to be a valuable fantasy option, but the fact is that never came to fruition until recently. Ivory was an undrafted free agent for the New Orleans Saints and for years was not offered much chance to star, and even with the New York Jets since 2013 he’s been more upside pick in curious timeshares than reliable contributor. After all, rushing for 1,000 yards in a season isn’t exactly rare these days, and Ivory has yet to approach this figure.
