December 30, 2012. That was the last time that we saw Tim Tebow in an NFL regular season game. Tebow played one snap in the Jets’ season-finale loss to the Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium, and that was it for the first-round pick’s professional football career in terms of getting action in a meaningful contest.
Nine years later, Tebow has been given a chance to get back onto the field for his first real football game since that chilly December afternoon in Orchard Park. The former first-round pick and college football legend is signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars – as a tight end.
