The Jets lost a valuable veteran presence when Josh McCown announced his retirement after 17 seasons in the NFL, but the journeyman passer isn’t done quite yet when it comes to helping out a former teammate.
Now an analyst for ESPN, McCown spent the last two seasons with the Jets, serving as the starter before giving way to Sam Darnold, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft.
Darnold shared his parting thoughts for Darnold with ESPN’s Rich Cimini earleir this week:
