Marty Lyons, the former Jets defensive lineman and current radio analyst, will miss at least the first two preseason games as he continues to recover from a stroke he suffered on July 11.

Lyons said on Tuesday he is feeling better but still experiencing some double vision, which he has been told should continue to improve and return to normal within 90 days or so.

“It’s been a long three weeks,” he said. “It knocked me back a little bit. It made me realize there is nobody that’s Superman. Life changes on a dime. It changes in a heartbeat.
