Having been subjected to some of the worst quarterback play in the NFL over much of the past six seasons, Jets fans are ready for a long overdue turnaround at the position that has been Gang Green’s achilles heel for far too long.
Head coach Todd Bowles has gone on record as saying that the starting quarterback job heading into 2015 is Geno Smith’s to lose. In all reality, Smith will likely be under center come week one unless veteran back-up Ryan Fitzpatrick far outplays the young QB.
