The New York Jets have dealt with their issues on offense throughout the season thus far and in recent weeks, it’s become clear that the team possesses a struggling rushing attack. That could be due in large part to a weak offensive line and the issue has only become more evident with the recent season-ending neck injury of longtime back Bilal Powell.
Just last week, the Jets struggled mightily in regards to the run game, totaling just 57 yards on 24 attempts for an average of 2.4 yards per carry. The fact that the Chicago Bears have a talented defense obviously played a factor in that, but it’s also important to note that star defensive lineman Khalil Mack was inactive and the Jets still struggled to gain any significant yardage on the ground.
