Throughout the 2018 NFL season thus far, it’s safe to say that 28-year-old New York Jets wide receiver Jermaine Kearse hasn’t performed quite as well as the organization had hoped he would. In fact, Kearse’s performance has been lackluster, to say the least.
In 2017, Kearse appeared in 16 games, totaling 65 receptions for 810 yards and five touchdowns. This year, however, he hasn’t performed anywhere near that level, totaling just 24 receptions for 23 yards and no touchdowns in nine games.
Entering a week 12 matchup with the New England Patriots, who currently lead the AFC East with a 7-3 record, Kearse’s production isn’t expected to increase.
