Ex-Patriots center Bryan Stork visiting Jets, source confirms

Free agent center Bryan Stork, formerly of the Patriots, is visiting the Jets on Tuesday, a league source confirmed to NJ Advance Media.

Stork's visit was first reported by NFL Media's Ian Rapoport.

The Jets have some depth concerns on their offensive line right now, heading into Sunday's game at the Chiefs.

In Thursday's win at the Bills, left guard James Carpenter strained his calf. Wesley Johnson, who doubles as the backup center, replaced Carpenter on Thursday. So if Carpenter can't play at the Chiefs, the Jets wouldn't have a backup center, since Johnson would have to take Carpenter's spot.
