FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) — The New York Jets promoted wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins to the active roster from the practice squad on Tuesday night.
The move came a day after wide receiver Quincy Enunwa was suspended four games for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy in an incident last year.
The Jets also signed former Jaguars and Chiefs cornerback Jeremy Harris to the practice squad.
Thompkins, signed by the Jets on Oct. 5, joins the active roster in time to face his former team when New York plays at New England on Sunday.
