Ravens coach John Harbaugh announced during his postgame press conference Monday night, after Baltimore lost at the Patriots, that former Jets tight end Konrad Reuland died from a brain aneurysm. Reuland was 29.
Late last month, Harbaugh told reporters Reuland suffered a brain aneurysm and was scheduled to undergo surgery.
Reuland's death follows the road rage shooting death, earlier this month, of former Jets running back Joe McKnight, who played for them from 2010-12. He was 28.
After playing at Stanford, Reuland signed with the 49ers as an undrafted rookie in 2011.
