FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Wesley Walker has some friendly advice for his former team, the New York Jets: There are no gimmes in the NFL.
Repeat: There are no gimmes.
The Jets are headed to the Midwest this weekend to face the winless Cleveland Browns, the league's laughingstock. Walker, a member of the team's Ring of Honor, has an uneasy feeling about the game. It reminds him of Dec. 14, 1980, when the Jets faced the 0-14 New Orleans Saints at a cold and windy Shea Stadium.
He's still haunted by that game, even 36 years later.
