Q: How does this Jets defense compare to the ones you played alongside and were making AFC Championship games with?
A: On paper, I don’t think it’s even close. I can look at all three phases of the defense — you have to say this defense is better than the one in ’09 when it was No. 1 in the league in pretty much every category.
