LaDainian Tomlinson and Jason Taylor, members of the New York Jets team that came up short in the 2010 AFC Championship Game, were inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday night.
Tomlinson and Taylor signed with the Jets that year because they wanted to play for a championship. They came agonizingly close, as the Jets lost to the Steelers in the conference title game 24-19.
Obviously, Tomlinson and Taylor amassed their Hall of Fame credentials with the Chargers and Dolphins, respectively, but they were key contributors in their brief time with the Jets.
