Former Giants tackle Luke Petitgout will spend the holidays in jail.
On Friday, a New York judge convicted him of two counts of harassment and sentenced him to 30 days in jail for allegedly sucker-punching a man who was on a date with his estranged wife, and then slugging her.
Petitgout was acquitted of attempted assault for the June fracas at 48 Lounge, where his wife, Jennifer, was lunching with a Queens man she met on an adult sex site. The judge said he had to let Petitgout off on that charge because the law requires proof that he intended to cause injury and he could not draw that conclusion.
