If there is one person with a rooting interest in Teddy Bridgewater’s return from a severe knee injury it’s former Jets and Giants coach Bill Parcells.
The Hall of Fame coach, who spends time in South Florida during the winter months, has developed a relationship with the quarterback.
“I knew him since he was in college,” Parcells told Newsday. “He’s from South Florida and that’s where we met. Just kinda stayed on it. It was an extremely severe injury and he deserves all the credit [for coming back]. I know he worked very, very hard and hopefully the surgery will allow him to continue his career.
