Jets general manager Mike Maccagnan wasn't joking when he said the Jets would be awfully active on the waiver wire.
On Sunday, one day after all 32 teams trimmed their rosters to 53, Maccagnan claimed four players off the waiver wire: Tight end Will Tye, receivers Damore'ea Stringfellow and Kalif Raymond, along with linebacker Edmond Robinson. It was the second season in a row the Jets claimed four players a day after the cutdown.
