Even if Aaron Rodgers can return, should Jets want that in 2023?

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers turns 40 on Saturday, a milestone very few active NFL players have reached. On the same day, he hits 80.

Eighty days since surgery to repair a ruptured left Achilles tendon suffered in Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills.

That Rodgers is practicing so soon after a catastrophic injury is another remarkable achievement in his career. But now he's in a race against time. He has 19 days remaining in his 21-day practice window to convince doctors, and perhaps himself, that he's physically capable of playing a football game.
