FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — In the end, it was an “easy decision” for Eric Decker.
During his weekly guest spot on ESPN Radio, the Jets receiver said he’ll undergo surgery on his right shoulder in the next week or two.
“It just kind of stayed the same, even got a little worse,” he said Thursday of his partially torn rotator cuff. “ . . . Getting surgery was really going to be the only answer.”
Decker, who played in only three games this year, was officially placed on injured reserve Wednesday. He described the pain as “someone is kind of stabbing you.
