Emerson Boozer and Matt Snell, the two Georgia-born running backs who provided a powerful one-two punch for the Super Bowl-era Jets, will be inducted into the team's Ring of Honor during halftime ceremonies at the Nov. 29 Jets-Dolphins game at MetLife Stadium. The announcement was made during the first quarter of today's Jets-Eagles game.
"It's a great feeling," said Boozer, said. "It's an anticipation, something that I hoped would occur, not so much this year but in my lifetime.
"I don't know whether we were Butch and Sundance, but we were a pretty tough duo," Boozer said about his work with Snell, which reached its apex from 1966-69, including the Jan.
