The injury-plagued Jets could use a kickoff returner, and on Tuesday they brought in two for a look-see when Dri Archer and Trindon Holliday came to One Jets Drive for a workout, a person with knowledge of the situation confirmed.
That person spoke to NJ Advance Media on condition of anonymity.
The Jets' limitations at kick returner bubbled to the surface during Thursday's loss to the Bills, when rookie Devin Smith—whom special teams coach Bobby April initially did not want returning kicks—was thrust into action and wound up losing a fumble that was returned for a touchdown.
