Quinton Coples will soon be out of job again.
The Dolphins are expected to release the former Jets outside linebacker, according to a source.
A 2012 first-round pick, Coples was waived by the Jets on Nov. 23. The following day, he was signed by Miami. Coples (6-6, 290 pounds) played in just six games with Miami, registering no tackles or sacks.
At the time of his release from the Jets, first-year head coach Todd Bowles called it “a business move.” But it was clear from conversations with people inside the building that there were questions about Coples’ passion for football.
