Doctson signed a 1-year deal with the Jets and was expected to compete for a roster spot to be Sam Darnold’s fourth or fifth receiver. Having racked up a pair of 500 yard seasons, Doctson is one of the more experienced recievers on a Jets depth chart that has plenty of speed but lacks past production as we outlined here earlier this week.
