The Jets were supposed to tank this season; lose as many games as possible to grab a No. 1 or 2 pick in the NFL Draft.
The Jets ... didn't do that.
For the second season in a row, New York finished 5-11. But unlike last year, 2017 had a bit of a positive feel. The players fought each and every week. The locker room mood was far from the toxic mess of 2016. There was a belief this Jets team, while identical in record, was much better than the year prior.
But is that true?
